Land, sea, air - Italy, France, Belgium etc. ; ACS France crew has been very busy shooting in different configurations ! One movie released this month and the participation to a trade fair.

Some of our latest film projects :
We shot in uncommon condition in Sète for a corporate movie as we were filming in the open sea. To capture smooth and stable images we used an adapted rig for our Shotover F1 which was fitting the Red Epic and Angénieux 25-250. The result was impressive even reaching 30 knots of speed and playing with the zoom without restraints. The Shotover F1 is the ideal tool for complex and shaky environments and can be quickly set-up on any travelling platform.

Our new 3 axis Shotover G1 gyro-head also showed impressive performance for the shoot of a commercial in Portugal. Very lightweight (only 6kg) yet robust, it has no equivalent on the market. Even used in a forceful manner (many drifts, speeds up to 200km/h, turns at 130km/h, etc.) it brought entire satisfaction to the production, both in terms of stability and fluidity. Many ranges of lenses were used, Cook 5/i and Angénieux small zooms, with the Alexa Mini. The Shotover G1 is easily transportable by plane in excess baggage.

Several drone shot during the latest weeks on demanding projects as we are used to, especially when we are working under the watchful eyes of Michael Bay… -14 and -25 kg flights mainly with the Alexa Mini and Red Dragon 6K, fitted with fixed lenses or small zooms.

Next release :
- The Odyssey, directed by Jérôme Salle and shot by DoP Matias Boucard, will be released in October 12. We shot, with Matias being the Shotover K1 operator, superb air-air images of an old seaplane. We used the Shotover with a Red Epic Dragon and two lenses : the Angénieux 24-290 and Arri UWZ 19-36. (Arri article)

Athletics Meeting :
Right after the Herculis Meeting in Monaco with our Speedtrack, we travelled in Lausanne for covering the meeting with our Cablecam. A one axis configuration (horizontal A-B) with our all-in-one broadcast kit : our 6 axis gyro-head Shotover F1 Live, Sony HDC P1 and Canon 14x. Our Cablecam system can rapidly reach high speeds (strong acceleration, speed up to 90km/h) preserving high stability and perfect horizon.
