The 66th Cannes Film Festival has announced its selection

Less than a month before the beginning of the festivities, the Cannes Film Festival has announced the 66th Official Selection through its President, Gilles Jacob, and Thierry Frémaux, Managing Director, at the usual press conference. Before the release of the announcement of the films chosen by the parallel sections, there are already 11 AFC member directors of photography who were responsible for the cinematography of 12 films in the selection.

Officially in the Competition
- GrisGris, by Mahamat-Saleh Haroun, cinematography by Antoine Héberlé, AFC
- Inside Llewyn Davis, by Ethan & Joel Coen, cinematography by Bruno Delbonnel, AFC, ASC
- Jeune et jolie, by François Ozon, cinematography by Pascal Marti, AFC
- Jimmy Picard, by Arnaud Desplechin, cinematography by Stéphane Fontaine, AFC
- Michael Kohlhaas, by Arnaud des Pallières, cinematography by Jeanne Lapoirie, AFC
- The Immigrant, by James Gray, cinematography by Darius Khondji, AFC, ASC
- Un château en Italie, by Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi, cinematography by Jeanne Lapoirie, AFC
