The AFC at Camerimage 2017

The AFC will be represented at the 25th Annual Camerimage Festival in Bydgoszcz, Poland, by four films in its selection, the attendance of a dozen of its members, a Master Class, and the publication of a daily newsletter containing news from its members and the highlights of this annual rendezvous for cinematographers.

Special Screenings

European Panorama

“First Look” Competition – Television Pilots

  • Transfer, directed by Antoine Charreyron and Olivier Guignard, cinematography by Pascal Lagriffoul, AFC.

Besides the screenings of these four films :
- An AFC Master Class featuring Caroline Champetier, Pierre-Hugues Galien, and Pascal Lagriffoul and moderated by Benjamin B, AFC consulting member, will take place on Wednesday, November 15 ;
- Richard Andry will be a member of the jury for the Directors’ Debuts competition, and Denis Lenoir will be a member of the jury for the Polish Films Competition ;
- Philippe Ros will participate in an ASC/Imago round-table that will discuss the subject of “Cross-border collaboration between cinematographers” ;
- Matthieu Serveau’s documentary Raul Coutard : de Saigon à Hollywood will be screened in the Remembering The Masters series, at the initiative of the AFC, followed by a meeting with Ricahrd Andry ;
- A daily newsletter sent from Bydgoszcz by Jean-Noël Ferragut will relay the festival’s main happenings, including those involving our active and associate members in attendance, and will feature various written and filmed interviews.
