FrACS France at NAB Show Las Vegas 2018
May 2018 releases:
Solo: A Star Wars Story, directed by Ron Howard and shot by Bradford Young, will be on screen on May 23th 2018. After working on the episodes VII and VIII of Star Wars (The Force awakens and The last Jedi) it was a pleasure to be part of the new movie of this famous franchise. Our teams provided helicopter filming with our Shotover K1, equipped with an Alexa 65 and a 28-80mm zoom lens.
Abdel et la comtesse, directed by Isabelle Doval and shot by Gilles Henry, AFC, will be on screen on May 9th 2018. We took aerial shots with a Freefly Alta8 drone equipped with an Alexa Mini and a Primo lens.
Larguées, directed by Eloïse Lang and shot by par Antoine Monod, will be on screen on April 18th 2018. Aerial shots were taken with our Tyler Mini Gyro, a portable and light gyro-stabilized system, providing the possibility to take aerial shots from a helicopter on the side of the aircraft. Its compacity offers a great versatility and can be a tremendous asset to stabilize your images.
The adventurers, directed by Stephen Fung and shot by Shane Hurlbut, is an Asian movie released on VoD on April 3rd 2018. Our teams took aerial shots with an helicopter equipped with our Shotover K1.
71st Festival de Cannes
The Festival de Cannes will start on May 8th 2018. We are proud to have been part of the filming of Solo: A Star Wars Story, by Ron Howard and Le grand bain, by Gilles Lellouche which are presented in the Official Selection in the out of competition category.
