ACS France team wishes you a happy festive season and deeply thank you for your confidence in our services. Look back at some of our latest projects, in particular with our Belgian subsidiary.

Shotover G1 and Cablecaml®
ACS France widens its offer range around the Shotover systems with our new-born package: Cablecam®/Shotover G1 – below picture with a Sony F55 and Fuji 19-90 Cabrio. The package can involve our three declinations – 1, 2 or 3 axis Cablecam® - and is now ready for use! The overall flying weight sets under 35kg, the Shotover G1 head weighing only 5kg. It requires more flexible anchorage points; yet remaining perfectly stable and reliable!

Our last projects:
- Another shoot in the Brussels streets for an American feature film, with our Belgian subsidiary. The production crew was exigent with the lenses and chose to use several one (Scope Hawk V Lite Series) all during the night. Changing the lens lenses and balance the system is very quick. Most of the shot were made with the Red Weapon 6K and the Hawk 55mm. We’ve had also been able to again experience the performance of the ‘Shock Absorber’ Black Arm which fits very nicely to the Shotover G1. The set was rigged on a vertical motorised back lift enabling more flexibility. For demo images please contact us.

- These past weeks, our crews have been traveling over Europe for commercials productions, with equipment leaving from Paris or Brussels. The following picture shows a recent set for a Czech DoP with which we shot with the Alexa XT and two Alura lenses: 17-80 and 45-250. Plates and texture were shot with the 17-80 and ground action sequences with the 45-250 – 1 hour only to switch the lenses. Luc Poullain was piloting the helicopter and Steve Desbrow as gyro-technician.

Movies released in December:
- Demain tout commence, directed by Hugo Gélin and shot by Nicolas Massart will be released on the 7th of December. We shot, near Saint-Tropez, the opening sequence following a boat in the open sea; we used the Shotover K1 and Red Dragon fitting the Angénieux 25-250.

- Befikre, directed by Aditya Chopra, will be released on the 9th of December. It was very joyful adventure with this Indian production, for which we worked several days in France, with the cinematographer Kaname Onoyama. A first team for the helicopter part with the Shotover K1 and a second team for the drone shot (configuration with the Alexa Mini).

- Assassin’s Creed, directed by Justin Kurzel and shot by Adam Arkapaw, will be released on the 21st of December. For this project we joined the production team in Spain (Almeria) for the helicopter aerials, still with the Shotover K1.

Next show:
ACS France will be accompanying the Film France delegation at the Focus London (The meeting place for international production - www.tlgfocus.com) on the 6&7th of December. Participating in this event is a good opportunity for ACS France to convey its strong know-how on the domestic and international scale.
