The AFC Once Again a Member of IMAGO

Imago was created between Rome and Paris in 1992, on the initiative of Italian cinematographer Luciano Tovoli, AIC, ASC, and, at the time of its birth, it had four founding member countries: Germany, France, Italy and the United Kingdom. In the years that followed, they were joined by Austria, Denmark, Spain, Finland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Sweden, and many other members of the European Community, and later on, by many other countries across the world.
The AFC withdrew from its presence in Imago a few years ago.

Now, Imago has 56 member countries. The AFC’s return coincides with the admittance to active membership of the ASC (United States) and three Latin American countries: Brazil (ABC), Columbia (ADFC), and Uruguay (SCU).

The election of Imago’s new president, as current president Paul René Roestad, FNF (Norway), will not be standing for reelection, has been postponed until the end of the year (likely in October) because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
