One more year at our customers’ service to advise them about how to achieve specific and aerial shots. We always work and think about how to better approach directors and cinematographers. Once more, ACS France has worked upstream Warner Bros Production to study, advise and meet a specific request for aerials with "ground effect" (turbulence created by the helicopter rotor wind).

We have developed the third "long line" generation and this time, the Shotover K1 was used. The combination of those two systems provides stable images at eight feet above a river. The "long line" allows to rig different types of gyrostabilized heads such as the Shotover K1. The operator is in the helicopter which can fly with a sling from 50 to 150 feet long.
It allows us to do a travelling over fifty meters with a camera at a man’s height and end up in the clouds at 500 feet above the ground. The frame starts almost on the ground in the middle of the actors to get an overall view of the environment in "flirting" with the clouds.

For this latest production, it was also necessary to shoot a man in a canoe sailing on a river and fly at one meter above the ground and over a long distance...
