Issue 4 of "Shot on VariCam" magazine is now available, covering the most prestigious projects to date, including a box office blockbuster and Emmy®-award nominated projects for cinematography. Understanding Dual-Native ISO technology
Dual-Native ISO technology is a unique way of exploiting a camera’s sensor information to extend its dynamic range and reduce the level of signal noise that is produced. The sensor is then able to read two native ISOs on the sensor instead of one. Panasonic first developed this technology with the VariCam 35 and LT, and later with theEVA1.

The EVA ROP (Remote Operation Panel) is an app for IOS and Android that breaks out all the controls from an EVA1 camera to an easy-to-use wireless touchscreen device. The ROP is designed to for effective remote control, giving users complete control in a small “studio” set-up, including lens adjustments.
