Presence of the AFC at the 67th Cannes Film Festival

The AFC will once again be present at the Festival de Cannes thanks in the first place to the movies filmed by its member cinematographers, who have been chosen for the Official Selection (In Competition, Out of Competition, and Un Certain Regard) and for the Parallel Sections. This year, twelve "AFC” films will be screened in one or the other of these selections.

We will also be present via our associate members who have participated in their own ways, according to their professions, in one of these films or many of the others being screened. You can read the information we have received regarding their participation in the article entitled "Nos associés à Cannes”. As in the past, we will be hosted during the festival by the CST inside of its tent (stand 208, Village International Pantiero).
Once again, an AFC member cinematographer will be part of the jury for the Caméra d’or, as the management of the Festival and its president, Gilles Jacob in person, chose Philippe Van Leeuw, AFC to participate in this dream jury. Meanwhile, Richard Andry, AFC, will be a member of another equally prestigious jury, that of the CST, which awards the Vulcain Prize for Artist-Technicians.
Finally, this year once again, subscribers to our online newsletter will receive our daily updates via email. It will link to a page on our website, that will be updated each day, and which will feature agendas and portfolios, articles, interviews and images related to the films in competition that were filmed by members of the AFC or other cinematographers, both French and foreign. Furthermore, on our website, we will also report on the attendance and activities of our associate members at Cannes.
