A selection of some LCA’s latest in LED Lighting exhibited at Satis 2015

Cineo Lighting launched the next generation of HS to the European market at IBC where the HS2 won TVB Europe’s award for Best at Show award.

The newly improved HS2 lamp head utilises Remote Phosphor Technology and now features a single piece design for increased ruggedness, as well as an improved safety switch for better reliability. 80/20 mounting slots on both the sides and back of the fixture make attaching yoke and accessories easy. Two distinct mixing chambers allow custom CCT mixing via DMX. New hinged top access panel allows for easy, one-handed phosphor panel and accessory changes. The output is identical to the legacy HS fixture.

The new power supply, the RDM450, is smaller and lighter weight than the legacy DTZ450 power supply and features completely re-designed electronics for improved reliability. Other new features include digital display and control, remote programming via RDM, and fine dimming, smooth dimming and strobe capability. The RDM450 can be attached directly to the HS2 head for one-piece operation or operated remotely up to 300 feet from the fixture. All HS2 components are 100% compatible with the legacy HS fixture.

Earlier this year the Cineo Matchbox™ was introduced as the latest in versatile, portable remote phosphor lighting for film and television production. The Matchbox is roughly 3” x 5” x 1”, and outputs a stunning amount of high-quality light at a variety of accurate colour temperatures. A wide range of input power lets the user run Matchbox on any input voltage from 6-30VDC, as well as AC with the included adapter. The Matchbox includes an on-board 0-100% flicker-free dimmer that works in conjunction with upstream DMX or remote dimmers. Anodised aluminum construction makes Matchbox extremely rugged and durable. Accessories include a on-board battery clips, barn doors, and carrying cases.

The Cineo Maverick™ is an evolutionary fixture providing all of the benefits of Remote Phosphor Technology found in the Cineo HS™ line, while better meeting the demands of field use : lightweight, DC powered and weatherproof. Cineo Maverick delivers a volume of light equal to a traditional 1K soft source and comes with a variety of accessories, power options and mounting options.

LCA Lights Camera Action is pleased to introduce the Versatile

The bi-colour Versatile is an edge lit LED light tile producing an extremely soft light and has an amazing flicker free dimming arc. The light is 600x600mm and only 17mm thick, and can easily replace ceiling tiles when on location as well as having numerous mounting options including barrel clamps, spigot bracket and corner hanging points. With a light output of 1500 lux at 1 metre, the Versatile shows no shift in CCT when dimmed and has a fast response to allow flicker or lighting effects. A 4-way mains controller can operate the Versatile with local and DMX control or by single mains battery controller.

Matrix LED

Showing for the first time, the new Matrix LED 5 colour Module has been specifically designed for film and TV. Dimmable, flicker free and with the option to be controlled remotely via a Lumen Radio chip, simply click the small modules together to build any shape, size or length, the Matrix Modules allow for an amazing amount of flexibility for users to be as creative as they want.

The Matrix is available in three variations : 5 Colour RGB Cool White, Warm White ; 2 colour bi-colour and as a Spacer module with no LED’s but with a power through option. The small and punchy Matrix has an output of just 2.5w per colour (12w per module) and at 160x40mm each module weighs just 126g. The white lights on the Matrix have been CRI and TLCI tested with an impressive result of 93-95% and 92-97% respectively.
