A huge thank you ! The AFC Board decided in January to admit Exalux as an associate member.
This decision is recognition of the work done by Exalux teams over the past three years. We are proud to integrate this great family, and wish to thank our sponsors, Michel Abramowicz and Laurent Chalet.

"Random season 2” under the lights of Exalux
Random is a Nantes web-series lit by Anne-Charlotte Henry and Arthur Bourdaud, two chief operators who work in pairs. The first season was distributed by Rockzeline on several broadcast platforms such as MyTF1, Canal Play and WeLoveCinema and has accumulated over one million views.
Exalux decided to make a small contribution by supporting Anne-Charlotte and Arthur with the loan of Rock and Rock Wide led panels and of a Briks kit.

Flexx : the LED ribbon by Exalux
Highly awaited by gaffers, the Exalux LED ribbon is now available at Maluna Lighting. Three versions are currently available : 3200K, 5600K and tunable 2700-6500K.
Exalux has brought all its expertise of LED technology to manufacture these products that gaffers will appreciate for its very high colorimetric rendering.
The LEDs binning is centered on 3 MacAdam ellipses in order to guarantee a colorimetric uniformity from a reel to another.
The Exalux Flexx LED ribbons are available in 12VDC for a power of 18W/m.
The range will soon be completed by a RGB W version with a minimum colour-rendering index of 95 and by an RGB version.

ezLED : LED becomes easy
ezLED was previewed at the AFC MicroSalon and then at the BSC in London with the same enthusiasm. ezLED is the ultimate "LED DYI solution".
ezLED is a Lego® light system consisting of LED modules (336x18mm strips), connection circuits and connectors for quick and seamless connection.
ezLED is easy to use (no soldering required) and its low thermal warming for a high power (30W/m) allows it to be integrated into film sets without any additional heatsink. The boards’ mechanical flexibility allows adaptation to any shape.
The quality of the light is not left out since the colorimetric rendering is between 93 and 97 at any colour temperature for the Ra and the R9, R13 and R15 indexes.
The STRIP20-TW (336X18mm) is the very first LED module in the range. It is powered in constant voltage (24VDC) and supports PWM up to 32Khz. The power is 30W/m.
The range will soon be completed by a RGB version. Other LED modules are also being studied to cover all needs.
Various accessories, such as rotating connection circuits, allows 180° articulated connections.

Dimlite : “DIY” dimmers for gaffer’s gear
Dimlite are constant voltage dimmers particularly suitable for Flexx LED ribbons and ezLED modules. They have no housing and can discreetly be integrated into the film sets and accessories requiring light.
Dimlite OneDMX has an output with a capacity of 4A (only 1 output). It is controlled in DMX.

Dimlite DL2X2A has two independent outputs with a capacity of 2A each. The light intensities can be adjusted separately using buttons.
Its PWM frequency adjustment at 32 kHz makes it absolutely flicker-free. The dimmers can be supplied with 12 or 24VDC.

uBOOST : the right voltage for a better light
Exalux now offers an energy conversion solution to accompany the technological change caused by LED technology and meet the need for nomadism.
uBOOST DC24W108 is a step-up converter generating a stable voltage of 24VDC from a VLOCK battery which output voltage can vary from 13V (discharged) to 17VDC (fully charged). uBOOST DC24W108 delivers a 108W power within a compact housing due to its high efficiency (up to 98%).
uBOOST DC24W108 can also power any electronic device in 24VDC which power consumption is less than 108W.

DMX Connect Plus : a simple and intuitive app for small sets
Dmx Connect Plus is a simple, intuitive and easy to use application. The interface looks like the well-known DMX console and reassures as soon as the application is launched.
Dmx Connect Plus is operational with the Wifi Connect-One box without any setting. It has 512 cursors and incorporates the most common basic functions : 16 memories, combination of scenes, selective "masterization" of cursors, lock of the settings by password.

DMX Connect Plus is available for iOS and Android devices.

Wireless DMX : Connect range expands
The TX100 (transmitter) and RX100 (receiver) devices embedding LumenRadio’s CRMX technology are now available from Maluna Lighting.
With these devices, it becomes possible to transmit a DMX universe over a distance of 500 meters in an urban environment (1 km in open field) with absolute reliability and without any latency. An infinite number of RX100 receivers can be paired with the TX100 transmitter.
The CRMX technology is based on a 2.4GHz carrier and does not interfere with the Intercom radio and Wifi video returns.
The devices incorporate the codes that made Connect One successful : mains or battery power supply, antenna protection, multiple hanging solutions.
The Connect-One and Connect-TX100 can be connected to each other via an XLR5 Pts cable to control a multitude of DMX devices with a connected tablet.
