After working on the film Les Petits mouchoirs, ACS France has rejoined much of the same team around Christophe Offentsein who just finished making his first film, En solitaire. He made the film with the duo Canet-Cluzet, photographed by Guillaume Schiffman, AFC, all on a boat for the race Vendée Globe in Lorient Bay and the Canary islands.

The filming specifications were difficult and we looked for solutions with Key Grip Menoury Laurent and his team to install the best remote controlled hardware on the boat.
A big thank you to all the cast and crew for trusting us on with the services throughout the shoot, including the installation of two head axes (Pee-Pod 500) on " outriggers " (tangons) for a greater perspective of the boat which was higher than three meters above the water outside of the bridge, all controlled from inside the boat.

The Mini-C Nettmann was also used. It was attached to the central bridge to follow the film. For the rest we made plans with Super-G Nettmann helicopters and the Mini Gyro from Tyler (passenger reconnaissance aircraft flying over the boat point of view) .

Our team :
- Jim Swanson for Tyler Middle Mount in Lorient
- Fabrice Ourthe for Mini-C system in Lorient
- Steve Desbrow for the Nettmann Super-G’s Sables d’ Olonne and the Pee-Pod 500’s Canary for nearly three weeks.
