Je suis très content que Benoît Dantan et sa société XD motion nous rejoignent en tant que partenaire de l’AFC. J’ai toujours eu beaucoup de plaisir à travailler avec lui sur des projets compliqués.

After working on Wilde Salome directed by Al Pacino, which was screened at the last Venice Film Festival, Benoît Delhomme, AFC, continues his career in the USA by filming Lawless. Following The Proposition in 2005, this is his second collaboration with Australian director John Hillcoat and his fellow countryman Nick Cave, singer and screenwriter.
This film has one of the most prestigious casts of any presented at the 65^th Cannes Film Festival (Guy Pearce, Shia LaBeouf, Tom Hardy, Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska et Gary Oldman). (F. R.)

Benoit Rizzotti nous a quittés. Il était assistant.

Ceux d’entre nous qui avaient eu la chance de rencontrer Benoît Rizzotti et de travailler avec lui savaient qu’il luttait depuis plusieurs années contre un cancer. Sa disparition récente m’a pourtant surpris, il se battait avec un tel courage que j’avais fini par le croire invincible.

In 1935, Benoît Delhomme’s grandfather Georges helped create Lancôme, a fragrance house for which he designed bottles or, more accurately, glass sculptures that were at once ethereal, bright and fanciful. "Magie", "Trésor", "Peut-être", "Joyeux Été" were the scents these bottles contained, the aim of which was to help women overcome the traumas of World War2.

En 1935, le grand père de Benoît Delhomme - Georges Delhomme - avait participé à la création de Lancôme, une maison de parfums dont il réalisait alors les flacons, sculptures de verre aériennes, lumineuses et pleines de fantaisie. "Magie", "Trésor", "Peut-être", "Joyeux été" étaient les noms des senteurs que ces flacons renfermaient et qui devaient rendre les femmes plus heureuses au sortir de la guerre.

Filmed in two weeks "like doing a movie among friends", the film Climax is faithful to the themes and style of Gaspar Noé (sex, drugs and a descent into hell). Mixing improvisation and extremely precise staging (like the choreography that opens the film), Benoît Debie, SBC, explains how he approached this shoot full of energy and things a little crazy ...
