The teams of ACS France realised aerial shots on one movie released in August and two in September: SMS, by Gabriel Julien-Laferrière, Métamorphoses, by Christophe Honoré, and The Hundred-Foot Journey, by Lasse Hallström.

In the dog days of parisian summer, as it is in the current situation, we can hide in a movie theater, it is a privileged place where, with other "film buffs", we can share a good (or less-good) movie and little freshness. This is a moment of pleasure, we can even sometimes enrich with a chocolate ice cream, and repeat over and over all day long, as I have used to do it since my earliest childhood.

Arlésienne de longue date devenue un succès tonitruant, Top Gun : Maverick retourne sur les traces du film de Tony Scott, de 1986. Collaborateurs de longue date, le réalisateur Joseph Kosinski et le chef opérateur oscarisé Claudio Miranda, ASC, ACC, sont venus présenter le film en compétition principale au CKK Jordanki de Camerimage 2022 qui tremblait encore du son des propulseurs. Ils racontent la genèse du film et les solutions trouvées pour tourner les impressionnantes séquences aériennes sans trucages.

Gilles Porte, AFC, is currently filming Lady Nazca in Peru, a film directed by Damien Dorsaz. As in 2014 on 3000 Night, by Mai Nasri, and 2015 on Dans les forêts de Sibérie, by Safy Nebbou, Gilles once again offers us two images per day, taken by him (unless otherwise stated) along with his commentary. A sort of diary of things seen or felt, moments captured on the camera or smartphone.
