The teams of ACS France realised aerial shots on one movie released in August and two in September : SMS, by Gabriel Julien-Laferrière, Métamorphoses, by Christophe Honoré, and The Hundred-Foot Journey, by Lasse Hallström.

SMS
The last movie of Gabriel Julien-Laferrière, SMS, was released in cinemas on 20 August. Last year, ACS France realised aerial shots several times for this feature film shooting. The Shotover K1 was installed on a helicopter in Quiberon, Brtiany. During this shooting, as for many others, we offered the opportunity to use our flying competences for the production team’s travels on different sites.

Métamorphoses
The French comedic drama Métamorphoses, by Christophe Honoré, will be released on September 3rd. We have shot pictures by travelling system during this feature film production, which is nominated for the 71st Venice Film Festival. The gyro stabilized and robotic arm Ultimate Arm system was installed on a car.

The Hundred-Foot Journey
The Hundred-Foot Journey is the new feature film of Lasse Hallström. It will be released on Septembre 10th in France. For this shooting, our team went to Albi in the South of France for aerial shots by helicopter with a long line installed on the Super G.
We prepared a special sequencing plan for the production company GEM Films. It was a travelling from ground level for 50 meters (which permitted to shoot among the actors) to the environment overview from the sky. To implement this installation we fixed the gyro stabilized head Super G (with an Arri 2335 camera and 17-80mm optic) on a longline under the helicopter.
