In addition to all StarliteHD+ functionalities, the StarliteHD-m, with metadata aggregator is really an electronic toolbox ; this small monitor can provide the necessary tools, whatever the job or the requirement.

The tools of StarliteHD-m "Metadator"
- For the focus puller : zoom, peaking, focus puller view
- For the script assistant : record on SD SDI standards/playback, Lens Reader, metadata view, PDF report
- For the user of stabilized equipment : virtual horizon, data, clip recording.

The essential power of the StarliteHD-m resides in its ability to gather information from the different smart devices it is connected to, a set of cable is all you need.
- Metadata transmitted through the SDI cable
- Camera information through the Ethernet cable ( Arri, Panasonic, RED and Sony protocols are now integrated, more brands of camera will come)
- Lens data through the serial adapter cable

Hence the StarliteHD-m is compatible with all cameras providing an SDI output.
Possibilities and functionalities will vary depending on the camera and lens type associated to the StarliteHD-m.

- From a SDI signal, the StarliteHD-m is capable of decoding lens information packaged by LDS (Arri) or RDD18 (Sony) protocols, TimeCode, REC flag etc…
- From an RS232 connection, the StarliteHD-m knows how to process data from/I compatible lenses : Cooke, Zeiss, Angénieux. This link is therefore dependent on the lens used, not on the camera.
- From an Ethernet connection, gathered data are extremely useful to populate lens files, particularly Zeiss files which require extended data. This link also helps to complete the information missing on the SDI metadata extracted by the StarliteHD.

Recent developments of lenses give access to new information : shading, distortion, inertial data and illumination tables are now available, only through a physical link. Lens concerned are the Cooke supporting /i3, and new Zeiss XD family : CP3-XD.
Moreover, development of post-production plugins and media management software allow the processing of such data.
The StarliteHD-m is the missing link between cameras and post productions ; files generated on the monitor will be immediately imported and processed, providing a non-negligible gain of time

The multirods adapter a new system working pretty well.
You change the inserts depending of the rods you have and you adjust the separation before securing the fixation.
Currently, available diameters are : 19mm, 16mm 5/8” , 15mm and 1/2” (1/2” is for PRO).
