ACS France : aerial filming for over 20 years
After a quite busy summer, we wish you a warm welcome back :
ACS France performed aerial shooting near Paris for the James Watkins next feature film Bastille Day (no release date yet). We shot during the month of June with our Shotover K1, equipped with a Red Epic camera and the anamorphic zoom Angénieux 24-290mm ; a performant configuration offering unlimited artistic possibilities. Luc Poullain for the aerial coordination, Jim Swanson as operator (Les Miserables) shot superb images : wide shots of the town, full shots of arriving vehicles, travelling, etc. (DOP : Tim Maurice-Jones, Kick-Ass 2).

We also took part in the shooting of the French-American feature film, produced by EuropaCorp and directed by Steven Quale (Avatar), The Lake (no release date yet). We went this time in Croatia for many days of shooting with the Shotover K1 (May, July) in an exceptional spot. We captured several types of images, such as a helicopter in motion above a lake ; Luc Poullain (Pilot), Steve Desbrow as operator (Belle et Sebastien 2).

Besides, we shot in Morocco in June, in particular with a drone (equipped with a Red Epic Camera and 24mm lenses), for the Michael Bay’ next feature film, released in January 2016, 13 Hours (first images).

At last, we worked of the shooting of many commercials, including for the brand Rolls Royce with the Shotover K1 equipped with the Red Dragon Camera : amazing images of an offshore boat (medium long shot, tight top shots, tight panoramic etc.) and shots a crowd in the midst of massifs.
