Gilles Porte, AFC, is currently filming Lady Nazca in Peru, a film directed by Damien Dorsaz. As in 2014 on 3000 Nights, by Mai Nasri, and 2015 on Dans les forêts de Sibérie, by Safy Nebbou, Gilles once again offers us two images per day, taken by him (unless otherwise stated) along with his commentary. A sort of diary of things seen or felt, moments captured on the camera or smartphone.

Gilles Porte, AFC est un opérateur qui aime changer d’univers visuel à chaque projet. Par exemple, en 2017, avec L’Échange des princesses [1], de Marc Dugain, dont l’intrigue se situe en plein XVIII^e siècle à la cour royale de France, ou l’année suivante avec Budapest [2], de Xavier Gens, une comédie contemporaine beaucoup plus festive. Pour cette édition 2019 de Camerimage, il présente Celle que vous croyez [3], le dernier film de Safy Nebbou avec Juliette Binoche (sorti en février 2019 à Paris). Un film sur le mensonge et les dangers des réseaux sociaux qui cartonne à l’international [4] depuis sa sortie (classé 3^e meilleur film français de l’année en entrées à l’étranger, tous pays confondus). Gilles Porte, AFC is an operator who likes changing visual universes on each project. For example, in 2017, on The Royal Exchange [1], by Marc Dugain, a film set in the French royal court during the 18th century, or the following year on Budapest [2], by Xavier Gens, a much more festive contemporary comedy. For this 2019 edition of Camerimage, he is presenting Who Do You Think I Am ? [3], the latest film by Safy Nebbou, starring Juliette Binoche (released in Paris in February 2019). This is a film about the lies and the dangers of social networks which has been a hit abroad [4] since its release (ranked 3rd-highest French film by ticket sales abroad). (FR)

Like he did during Summer 2014 while shooting Mai Masri’s film 3000 Nights, he has offered to send us two snapshots from the daily photo journal he is keeping while working on The Consolations of the Forest, directed by Safy Nebbou.
