Le Festival Camerimage a publié sur son site Internet des vidéos d’entretiens et/ou conférences, en liaison avec l’édition 2022, de certains de ses participants – personnalités, directeurs et directrices de la photographie ou sociétés de l’industrie. Citons, entre autres, Jean-Jacques Annaud, Autumn Durald Arkapaw, Stephen H. Burum, Ed Lachman, Sam Mendes, Claudio Miranda et Joseph Kosinski, Mandy Walker et Baz Luhrmann ou encore Angénieux, Arri, FilmLight, Sony et Rosco. Nous publions avec un certain retard deux vidéos liées à la présentation Sony au Micro Salon 2023. L’une de la captation de cette présentation par Fabien Pisano, Jean-Yves Martin et Gilles Porte, AFC, l’autre du film court de ce dernier, tourné en Sony Venice 2, où Pierre-William Glenn, AFC, dessine une caméra.

Arri, FilmLight, RED, and Sony have contributed to this scheme and the definitions linked to it. The ITC is in the process of obtaining approval from other manufacturers.

Camera manufacturer, designer of image capture at a time when film sets are opening to digital, Sony is joining the AFC. Sony’s involvement in the film world, but especially in the capture of the image, for many years is a reality that has resulted in new additions to the director of photography’s vocabulary : the 750, the 900, then the F23, and finally the F35 which is currently making its appearance among rental houses.
There was an urgent need to involve all this work and reflection in the dynamic that inhabits the AFC.

Fabricant de caméra, concepteur de captation d’image, à l’heure de l’ouverture du numérique sur les plateaux de cinéma, Sony rejoint l’AFC. Depuis de nombreuses années, l’implication de Sony dans le monde du cinéma mais surtout dans celui de la captation d’image est une réalité qui s’est traduite par des noms nouveaux dans le vocabulaire des directeurs de la photographie : la 750, la 900, puis la F23 et enfin la F35 qui apparaît actuellement chez les loueurs.
Il était urgent d’associer tout ce travail et cette réflexion à la dynamique qui habite l’AFC.
